IDA was a partner in the Social Development Research Capacity Programme of the Department for International Development (DFID). Under this programme, young researchers, middle level bureaucrats and members of NGOs were imparted social science research skills for three weeks. The resource persons were drawn from eminent social science research institutes located in India and abroad. The programme was organised at an interval of six months. Four such programmes were organized. -
